Upon being diagnosed with terminal cancer, the stress from the prognosis left Michael Bryant with the desire for a week get-away with his wife.  They have only been married for twelve short years, and have fostered and adopted over twenty children. The amazing work that the Bryant’s did for these children left their home feeling a little chaotic and created the desire for the much-needed vacation.

Mr. Bryant’s wish for a peaceful get-away to Pigeon Forge Tennessee was granted through the work of hospice representative, Jennifer Smith, Caris Healthcare, and the Lighthouse of Hope Fund.  Mr. and Mrs. Bryant were able to enjoy the scenery of the Smoky Mountains, while sitting on their deck, drinking coffee, and reflect the good work that they accomplished in their lifetime together. Because of the Lighthouse of Hope Fund, the Bryant’s were able to face the struggles of terminal cancer with refreshed and renewed spirits.
