Before Margaret Edwards died, she wished to have one last family reunion with every generation of her family. She had gone 13 years without seeing her grandsons and she had yet to meet her granddaughter. Through the help of Intrepid hospice social worker Stephen Grieco, and the Lighthouse of Hope Fund, four generations of the Edwards family were brought together to enjoy catered food from Olive Garden. Here is a note from Margaret Edwards following the family reunion:

“Saturday, the 29th of April, was absolutely the best weekend of my life.  It was a beautiful thing to see all my family and extended family; four generations in the same room.  And I wanted to thank all the people who had a hand in making this happen.  It means so much to be able to do this now, while I have the strength to enjoy it.  Thank you again.”
