Lighthouse of Hope Fund
Through the Lighthouse of Hope Fund, the National Hospice Foundation enhances the quality of life of adult hospice patients and their families so that their remaining time together can be meaningful and memorable. The Lighthouse of Hope Fund will support “experiences for the living” that help make a hospice patient’s last times with family and friends extra special. As NHF collects stories from hospices that use the Fund on behalf of their patients, we will share them here.
Hospices that try to “grant wishes” for their patients can now extend their capacity to do so. With a $500 registration fee—to help replenish the Fund—hospices can get $1,500 back in funding to use for making last dreams come true for patients and families.
By donating to this new program, donors have the opportunity to directly affect the lives of patients and families around the country.
The Fund is available to hospice patients who are being cared for by a member hospice of the National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization.
